Help Break the Cycle at the Valencia County Animal Shelter

From January to July 2023, more than 1,927 dogs and cats at the Valencia County Animal Shelter were led into the euthanasia room and never came out.  That’s over 50%, a staggering number that continues to rise as more animals arrive each day with nowhere to go and no one to claim them.

But it doesn’t have to end this way.

Changing Fates: Volunteers Fight for Every Lost and Forgotten Animal

The Volunteers of the Valencia County Animal Shelter are a dedicated group of people working tirelessly to change the outcome for these animals.

They help reunite lost pets with their families and give those without one a fighting chance at a new beginning.  Through networking, outreach, and support, they help dogs and cats find safety in homes.

Now Is the Time: Your Compassion Can Save a Life

Their mission is fueled by compassion and urgency.  Every share, every foster, every adoption matters. If you’ve ever thought about opening your home, or simply your time, to a pet in need, now is the moment to act.

More Than Numbers: Be the Reason Their Story Continues

The shelter is not just overcrowded, it’s overwhelmed.  The animals aren’t just numbers, they’re lives, each with their own story waiting to be rewritten.  And you can be part of that story.

Adopt.  Foster.  Donate.  Share

Be the reason an animal walks out the front door, alive and loved.
